Code Fix: An error occurs when attempting to open a worklist item where the Form has a parameter named  “para_*” or “para”

Issue Description

When configuring a Form with a parameter named  “para_*” or “para” (“para_ApprovalID” for example) the parameter is rendered as an HTML character in Internet Explorer and results in an error when attempting to open the Form via a worklist item.

Error Message

The error message will be similar to: “State ‘_base_Param=Test’ not found”.


  1. Ensure you have K2 Five RTM installed.
  2. Get the K2 Five RTM FP10 from Regional Support.
  3. Install the K2 Five RTM FP10 to apply the fix.
  4. Refresh the browser cache.
