Issue Description

When a K2 workflow task was assigned to a role as the destination, and the role is not configured to be resolved to users, an administrator user is unable to release an opened task from K2 Management > Worklist.


  1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.3) installed.
  2. Download the K2 Five (5.3) FP2 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Install the K2 Five (5.3) FP2 to apply the fix.


When the administrator user selects a task from K2 Management > Worklist and clicks on Release, a dialog will open where you can select a role user to release the opened task.
