Issue

A Form/View Rule is not evaluated correctly when using a "If form/view parameter has not been specified” condition.

Symptoms

When adding a Form or View Parameter of type Boolean or type Number and configuring a Rule with an "If form/view parameter has not been specified” condition, the Rule Action does not execute as expected.

Resolution

There is currently a known issue where a Number Parameter is not evaluated correctly when a "if View/Form parameter has not been specified" condition is used in a Rule.

This issue will be addressed in a future update of K2.

Additionally, the following needs to be taken note of:

When a Boolean Parameter is defined with no default value, it automatically defaults to a "False" value. For this reason the "if View/Form parameter has not been specified" condition can not be used with a Boolean Parameter.
Workaround:

When the "if View/Form parameter has not been specified" condition needs to be used in a Rule, make use of a Type "Text" Parameter. This will ensure the Rule evaluates correctly.
