Installation of K2 client tools fail at the K2 Core component: "Error 2203: Database: Cannot open database file. System error"

You may encounter an issue when installing client tools where the K2 Core component install failed.


The InstallerTrace logs revealed the following error:

"This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."

Troubleshooting Steps

The installation package used might be corrupt. Please download a new copy from our Portal and re-try the installation.
